Our lab offers unique opportunities to become involved in research pertaining to the study of underlying protective factors that contribute to mental and physical health, wellbeing, health-related behaviors, and adaptation to stressful life events. These factors include Posttraumatic growth, Mindfulness, Spirituality, Optimism, Genetics, and the Social Environment.
We regularly offer volunteer research opportunities for undergraduate/graduate students at USC, doctoral students working on their Ph.D. at USC and individuals who are post-bachelors and aiming to gain more research experience in between undergraduate and graduate training. Postdoctoral Fellow Training
One to three year postdoctoral fellowships in cancer prevention and control are periodically available for candidates who have their Ph.D. and require additional specialized training to transition into independent research careers.
